we had a lot of snow this week... and we are suppose to have more. goodness!

it was horrible driving to school on Monday. the turn off to the school begins with a large... fairly steep hill. Unfortunately some of the cars us high schoolers drive are not exactly equipped for a ton of snow... and of course not everyone is exactly sure how to drive in snow as it is.. sooo it just doesn't mix well. I am fortunate enough to have a big all wheel drive vehicle that I know how to drive (fairly well) in snow. I know exactly what Boehmy (um... my SUV) can or cannot do.

Anyway... that'll be important a little later... (as I was saying) on Monday... the little cars were getting stuck as they traveled up the hill which was stopping everyone at the bottom of hill.... which of course made a huge crunch (umm.. not an accident... just a back up) in traffic. I might also mention that it is a fairly sharp turn before you head up the hill... so everyone was getting stopped at the bottom of the hill. I knew that if I tried to turn to go up the hill after being stopped I would fishtail and I couldn't afford to do that with all the cars around... so I went passed the turn off and turned around in a parking lot. Thankfully all but two of the little cars that had been stuck on the hill had gotten past so I could just turn and head on up without completely stopping (I did of course slow down). : ) It was nuts. LoL.. and yet were are all safe and no one was hurt.

It did not snow yesterday... but it did snow today... and it snowed a lot. The funny thing about Monday is that we had a ton of snow in the morning but by 9 o'clock in the morning the sun was out and melting all the snow away. That was not the case today... it was heavy snow since 2:30 am to roughly 1:00... there is a ton of snow and it has stuck. There are no major dricing incidents to report.. I did not fishtail once (which is surprising).. I learned to except a little fishtail every once in a while, and I have just learned how to deal with them. no biggie.

I did have to shovel today. We decided to shovel while it was still snowing so it wouldn't be so bad after it stopped snowing (plus, many of us had practice to go to after to school). It was wet heavy snow that was difficult to shovel, but all six of us were there so we got done in good time. Clairien and I went for coffee afterward and hung out in the commons room during first hour (we don't have first hour by the way... so no I was not ditching).

I guess I'll just leave it at that and move on.

I babysat last night... Kellen, Keaton, Keyra AND Keigen Wesley (my adorable 1.5 year old brother). They are all great you know. Its just the combination... all together... by myself... Keigen wanted to be held, Keyra was getting jealous, and Kellen and Keaton were very unresponsive because their faces were glued to their computer. Anyway... that's not the great part. I was making pizza... the frozen stuff you know. Anyway, the pan that I put the pizza on was a cheapy so after about a minute inside the oven it warpped... soooo... I had the hot oven open with the hot (warpped) pan in one hand (the pizza still on it) and in the other hand was the cold, sturdy pan that I was trying to put the pizza on to. . . right behind me Keigen begging to be picked up... I'm trying to keep him away from the oven. Keyra screaming at the top of her lungs that she HATES pizza and Kellen is not listening to me begging to a little help... yeah... but wait it gets even better. Mom's car alarm starts going off!! Why? I don't know... the Lord decided it would be funny. LoL...

Yeah, so I finally got the pizza switched pans and back in the oven without letting Keigen touch the oven... I'm scrambling around for my mother's keys... and find my dad's instead... so I got his alarm going off.... grrr... It took me forever to get the car's to stop going. All the neighbors were outside trying to figure out what was going on ... sigh... goodness... I finally found mom's keys after a good ten minutes. and so little Keigen made beeping noises the rest of the night. yeah... can you say frazzled?

Well... Keigen went down to bed real easy... Keyra... different story... she fell asleep so when I tried to move her she woke up and starting screaming... yeah... she wouldn't let anyone touch her. so i just left her on the couch and let her cry... bleh... soo intense
