snow storm driving
I just got back from
winter camp. Very much fun... if I may say so. We saw
a whole bunch of friends from summer camp... : ) I
got to see Brittany and Becca and all of those guys
from Colorado Springs. I have not seen them in a long
time, and it was fabulous times.
It was cold. . . and there was a lot of snow. knee
high & (in some places) waist high. and yeah...
it was cold. goodness. I'm not sure what else to
write. . . . yeah... lol.
Poor Brittany hurt her arm during snow football. She
couldn't do much with it... hopefully it was just
hyper extended a little bit... and not anything
serious. That would be horrible.
It started snowing today when we were packing up (we
had heard of a pretty nasty storm heading in and had
been working hard to avoid it) and we realized we had
not escaped the storm. The Ragsdales and the
Hollmanns might be stuck on I-70 somewhere because of
this snow storm. Kyle and I though had to go in the
opposite direction, over top the mountains we had
been camping in. It was really, really nasty on the
way up the mountain. Luckily Kyle and I got stuck
behind a snow plow that helped keep the road from
becoming way to slick. The snow plow also kept Kyle
and I going at a safer speed. After we got out of the
thick fog and heavy snow the snow plow pulled over
and Kyle and I made good time coming back down the
hill. There was still snow on the ground and it was
still a little slick, but nothing pumping the breaks
and down shifting couldn't handle. We got home
safely... 2 & 1/2 hours later. (when it's only
suppose to take about 1 & 1/2 hrs.)
God took care us. He sent us the snow plow and kept
us focused on driving. He took care of us.
much love,
Kynley Michal

merry, merry Christmas
Merry
Christmas!
I pray all of you had a wonderful Christmas... spent
valuable time with family and friends, and received
everything you asked for and more. : )
I had a very nice Christmas. Christmas's in my family
are always very interesting. LoL... Christmas Eve is
probably the most intense part. The
whole
family
usually comes... sooo... all the cousins and aunts
and uncles are talking or yelling... wrapping paper
is everywhere... presents are everywhere for that
matter. LoL... *sigh* I love Christmas... I love my
family.
Christmas Day... I've been very excited about. You
see, I've been the go between for presents for Mom
and Dad... and both of them got several large
presents for each other. Daddy got Mommy an
anniversary ring and Mommy got Daddy a leather
jacket. I was hiding both presents in my room. I had
helped Daddy pick out the ring while we were in
Florida... LoL.. and Mom and I went shopping for
Daddy's coat online while I was at school... go
figure... sooo... yeah.. I had a horrible time not
accidently slipping up about what they were getting
for each other. I was so excited to finally give
those gifts. : )
Mom loved her ring and Daddy loved his new coat... by
the way. : )
Much love,
Kynley Michal

three hundred sixty-five days more
I just had my birthday
recently. I'm eighteen now. I'm an "adult"
supposedly. LoL... honestly I feel no different.
but.. what exactly is one more day? I dunno. sooo...
now I can vote, buy lotto tickets, buy dry ice... oh,
and smoke and go to an adult prison! (although, I'm
not horribly excited about the last two things) : )
hmmm... anyway.... It was an okay birthday. Nothing
special happened we got snowed in and really couldn't
go anywhere or do much... so I opened my presents
right after I woke up and.... yeah... My daddy was
out of town and my brother was off snowboarding... so
mom and I watched movies and helped Keyra potty
train. woohoo! : ) I received phone calls and instant
messages... so you know, it was all great. : )
I opened most of my presents two days before my
birthday when daddy was here... that's when I had my
cake too. It was very good. Cheesecake Torte....
yummm... my favorite. : ) oooh... and on my birthday
we had teriyaki seasame noodles with shrimp... it was
very good.
Yesterday mom and I went down to the city to kind of
celebrate my birthday since we were snowed in for two
days. We had fun down their. I found some cute shirts
and my mom found a really cute outfit. very fun. We
also found very very cute shoes for Keyra for
Christmas Eve... she looks so cute. She has this
pretty velvet dress and a matching hat... and this
adorable little red sweater with fur around the neck.
awwww... I have to post pictures. we tried in on her
this morning.... oh my gosh... and she loved it. You
could tell that she felt pretty. : )
oh and Steff... I will be home during the holidays...
well, not the whole time. I won't be home Christmas
Eve or late afternoon Christmas Day. I will have my
cell phone (which is newer and has a better service)
near by. I would love to hear from you! Thanks for
the birthday wishes! : )
... three more days until Christmas!!
much love,
Kynley Michal

Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the
clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who
will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of
old, from ancient times."

am I really weird?
so.
i think I'm kind of strange. maybe. tell me what you
think.
- Today my mom and I bought a Christmas tree for my
dorm room next year (if I go to the school I have my
eyes on there will be plenty of room for the tree in
the dorm room). the tree is three feet tall and...
well... looks a Christmas tree.. is it weird of me to
ask for a minature Christmas tree for college?
hmm... anyway whatever your answer I'm rather happy
with the purchase. it was only ten dollars... well...
9.87... so mom and I were excited. I'm afraid I may
drive my roommate absolutely bonkers during this time
of year... in my household we decorate the day after
thanksgiving. ; ) I'm rather excited to decorate my
own tree. Mom and I even looked at small kitchen
sets. it's fun, but it's a little weird.
I'm scared but excited at the same time. . . plus,
I'm kind of between two... maybe even three colleges
right now. two Christian colleges out of state with a
graphic design program that I'm not sure about...
then there is a more expensive, secular art school
that's in state... but it has a fabulous graphic
design program (plus it's closer to home)... *sigh*
I'm not sure what to do.
so. pray for me? how does that sound? I appreciate
all your prayers. They mean the world to me.
~okay... I'm out of school for the year... then I
have to go back January 2 to pick everything right
back up. . .
'Tis the Season Everyone!! I love you all. more then
anything in the world.
Spread the cheer around, it's the best time of the
year.
All my love...
Kynley Michal

my ears hurt
wow... sorry... I got
real busy while I was in Florida and my teachers have
been working me to the bone since I got back...
soooo... yeah... it's been a while since I posted...
and my last post was pretty pathetic. ...sorry...
Anyway.... I'm here. I'm alive. yeah... I just moving
along can't wait till break... but then again a part
of me is okay it is passing slowly right now. I love
Christmas season and it passes so quickly... I hate
that... it makes me horribly sad... anyway... (yeah,
like, i cry horribly when we have to take down the
tree... mercy...)
My ears hurt... as I mentioned in the title.. you see
I got my second ear piercing on Saturday... and they
are a little bit sore. (not horrible) just tender. I
have to clean them for the next 6 weeks... which is a
little nerve racking because I'm always afraid of
getting something in them or not cleaning them
enough... yeah... I really don't want them to get
infected. that would be sooo bad. I'm horribly
excited about it. It was very spur of the moment. mom
just kind of asked what I would like for my birthday
and I it just kind of popped into my head. I was
like... I want my second ear piercing... (and since
we were at the mall) and just like that mom was like
"okay, let's go..." soo... Kynley has two piercings
in each ear like I have wanted in a really long time.
: )
I had a great time in Florida. Dad and I got back on
Thursday night really late so I was very out of it on
Friday. Clairien walked up to me that morning and
held up a bunch of paper plates and said "Look
plates!" yeah... I was very confused... "Uh...
yeah... plates." Clairien gave me this weird look and
was like, "You know, you eat off them..." yeaaahh...
Had something really major happened to the school
while I was gone? What else do you do with plates?
... Anyway, it turned out that the librarian that
both Clairien and I work for was holding a birthday
meal for us during our lunch hour... and Clairien had
brought plates... LoL... : ) fun no?
Anyway... I have a bunch of homework... so I'll get
working on that and then I'll back with you. Sound
good?
Much love,
Kynley Michal
Do you
not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the
everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the
earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his
understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to
the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even
youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble
and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew
their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and
not be faint.

jetlag
Hey... I'm in Florida
guys... : ) I'm skipping school and it's pretty cool.
I'm going to be swamped when I go back but I think
it's worth it. Daddy asked me almost two months ago
(maybe) if I wan't to go with him to Florida for my
birthday. sooo... here I am for my birthday! : )
.... I'm really tired. Lot's of traveling..... lot's
of plane trips... I'm really tired. I'll write more
later... *yawn*
... oh... and this will be the only post that
shows... so yeah... It looks really sad... anyway...
all my past one's are under the little button that
says "Nov 2006" or "Oct 2006" .... yeah... anyway...
Much Love,
Kynley Michal
